CHEERS TO THE YEARS!
Coralville is excited to welcome the 50th edition of RAGBRAI as an overnight town on Friday, July 28, 2023! This is Coralville’s sixth time hosting RAGBRAI dating pack to 1995, so we pride ourselves on being a premier stop for the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa.
Our committees have been working hard behind the scenes to provide a day full of great food, activities, and entertainment for riders and locals alike.

Mayor’s Welcome
“RAGBRAI is a special event that the City of Coralville holds near and dear to our hearts. The synergy of this being the 50th anniversary of RAGBRAI and the 150th anniversary of Coralville is a perfect fit. We’ll be ready to welcome riders to the ‘Hub of Hospitality’ in Coralville.”
Meghann Foster
Mayor, City of Coralville

Whether you are a seasoned cyclist or just starting out, RIDE RIGHT offers a comprehensive approach to bicycle safety through its 10 pillars of safety. Originally developed for the safety of RAGBRAI participants, RIDE RIGHT can be used anywhere to promote safe and responsible cycling. It emphasizes the importance of having the RIGHT stuff, gear, communications, riding skills, knowledge of the law, frame of mind, abilities, attitude, attention, and physical condition. Each RAGBRAI host community has a RIDE RIGHT committee that works to make the ride safe for participants and community members. At RIDE RIGHT, the ultimate goal is to make every ride a safe and enjoyable one.
